Rolling Stone says revered guitarist, composer and GRAMMY® winner (and 2016 & 2017 GRAMMY® nominee, Best Contemporary Instrumental Album) Bill Frisell "is a genuine guitar hero and a major influence on generations of six-stringers that you worship."  The New York Times proclaims "it's hard to find a more fruitful meditation on American music than in the compositions of guitarist Bill Frisell."  With over 250 recordings (including over 40 of his own), Frisell is recognized as one of America’s most vital and productive performing artists. He is a 15-time Best Guitarist winner in the DownBeat Critics Poll (including 2016), a 5-time Guitarist of the Year at the Jazz Awards and recently Guest Curator for the Roots of Americana series at Jazz at Lincoln Center (NYC) and Resident Artistic Director for the SF Jazz Center (San Francisco).  Bill is also a featured special guest on latest albums by Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Charles Lloyd, John Zorn, Carrie Rodriguez and Allen Toussaint's final recording.  A feature film and behind-the-music profile, entitled Bill Frisell, A Portrait premiered at SxSW in 2017 – click here to view trailer.  Bill has a new CD Small Town (duo with Thomas Morgan, ECM) out now and will have a new solo studio CD in Spring 2018.
